For a current project in transformer production, our wr40 rail system including intersection elements, was integrated as the central conveyor solution within a production plant. The aim was to convey transformer core sheets with a total weight of up to 25 tonnes safely and precisely.

In addition to our rail system, HORSTKEMPER developed a cross shuttle that has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the use-case. The special feature: the cross shuttle uses an integrated sliding carriage that allows the core sheets to be positioned and moved flexibly upon the shuttle. This achieves maximum freedom of movement within the defined range – while ensuring process reliability.

Another project demonstrates the reliability of our waverail® system under exceptional conditions. For use in a radioactive environment in the healthcare sector, our waverail® wheel blocks were specially modified for this particular application to meet the highest requirements for operational safety and low maintenance.

By using specifically selected materials and adapted components, we were able to refine our system to ensure safe and reliable operation even under these extreme conditions. This special design highlights our development strength: we don't just adapt existing systems – we develop them further in dialogue with our customers for new, demanding applications.
