Crack test Stations (magnetic powder)

Crack test stations for railway wheels and bearing rings. In these stations workpieces are checked for material defects, such as slight hairline cracks. These machines were specifically designed for magnetic particle or ultrasonic testing. A wide range of shapes and weights can be moved on these test stations.

Rings (non-toothed, internally, or externally toothed) or wheels are positioned in the machine and, if required, automatically clamped. Workpieces may be placed in the station manually or automatically.The carriage then moves into the test position. Integrated lifting and rotating units rotate the workpiece and the test can take place. We are able to turn, position and hold your applications with a unit weight of up to 30,000 kg and 7,000 mm in diameter.
