Tool Change

Individual machines and systems by HORSTKEMPER provide for automatic tool change on press lines. We fit new as well existing press lines, within a retrofit, with fully automatic tool change systems. Matching requirements of our customers exactly. Solutions are available for almost any application in the field of tool changing.

HORSTKEMPER can draw on a wide range of successfully completed projects. These may be simple press bed drives or complex push-pull systems with superimposed drive kinematics for a tool change in a confined space.

Tools may be moved by angular transfers and may also be connected to a fully automatic storage system by adapting them to a stacker crane. Shortest set-up times of approx. 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the system periphery, are our standard for fully automatic tool changing systems.
