Position Recognition Systems

If components are to be placed on an outfeed belt in the End-of-Line area immediately after unloading from the press, precise position detection is required for the stacking robot. HORSTKEMPER integrates camera and scanner systems from renown manufacturers.

As soon as the position of the component is determined, the stacking robot aligns tooling to the position of the workpiece and simultaneously corrects the position of the moulded components whilst running to the stacking container. Optical position recognition systems are characterized by high flexibility and process reliability.
