Your Responsibilites

Independent management and strategic development of our client portfolio for the wood-based materials and furniture industries in Germany and abroad

Building sustainable customer relationships and conducting targeted and proactive new customer acquisition in the target industries

Analysis of specific customer requirements, as well as close collaboration with the engineering and product development teams to develop customized system solutions in the field of mechanical engineering and automation technology

Management of the entire sales process: approaching customers, analyzing project requirements, developing concepts, providing consultation, preparing cost estimates, preparing and following up on proposals, including scheduling.

Developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting market analyses, monitoring industry trends, and identifying new opportunities and applications

Presentation of products and solutions to customers, at trade shows, and in webinars

Independently negotiating contracts in German and English

Traveling to visit domestic and international customers
Our Expectations

A college degree or technical certification in mechanical engineering

Relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) in technical sales of automation and handling solutions in the machine and plant engineering sector, preferably for the wood-based materials and furniture industries

Analytical skills for developing technical solutions, as well as confidence when dealing with sales-related matters

Technical understanding with expertise in legal and business matters, strong communication skills, confidence in negotiations, and a passion for interacting with international clients

Strong sense of initiative, analytical mindset, and team orientation

Proficiency in using ERP/CRM systems and excellent knowledge of MS Office

Business-level proficiency in German and English

Willingness to travel extensively both domestically and abroad
