HORSTKEMPER's alignment stations ensure the precise alignment of the conveyed goods.
Alignment Stations
Depending on the requirements, they raise and lower parts at different levels, rotate them by 90° or more, or flip them completely. This ensures that each product is in the desired position for the next step in the process.
Our turning stations are designed for the change of direction of stacks of panels, pallets, mesh boxes, and special transport racks. They enable changes in direction in very confined spaces, with a height of only 300 mm. They are typically integrated into conveyor lines to achieve turns of 90° to 270°. The system can consist of roller, chain, or belt conveyors.
In automated manufacturing processes, differences in height must be efficiently overcome. Our lifting stations move stacks of panels, pallets, mesh boxes, special transport racks, or individual items and can be designed to be powered electrically, pneumatically, or hydraulically as needed. They are integrated with roller, chain, or belt conveyors.
They enable optimal use of warehouse capacity and the development of new space and storage levels. Thanks to their seamless integration into our cross-conveyor vehicles, a continuous flow of materials from ground level up to higher levels can be achieved.
In modern production lines, angular transfer units ensure efficient use of production space. They handle materials such as panels, stacks, or mouldings and change the direction of flow by 90° or 180°. In doing so, they transport both lightweight workpieces and heavy stacks.
Depending on the requirements, our angular transfer units are actuated by motor, pneumatically, or hydraulically; synchronous operation is ensured by a lever mechanism. This allows for high throughputs and the reliable handling of heavy loads.
To ensure a smooth and reliable production process, individual parts, panels or stacks of panels must be aligned. We develop alignment stations that precisely align workpieces and feed them into the manufacturing or storage process. The alignment stations can operate independently or be integrated into automation lines. This allows a wide variety of workpiece types and sizes to be aligned electrically, pneumatically, or hydraulically.
We manufacture stations for surface and edge quality inspections that are customized to meet the specific requirements. We place particular emphasis on an ergonomic design and optimized lighting.
In the door manufacturing industry, the inspection station comes immediately after the painting process. The doors are inspected on all sides for surface defects before being sent to the automatic drilling and milling machine for the hardware cutouts.
