The turning of panels, stacks, blanks, doors, or stacks of paper is an integral part of many manufacturing processes. The careful transfer of stacks between system and shipping pallets while simultaneously aligning the edges is a proven practice at HORSTKEMPER.
The star turner is used for the in-line rotation of individual workpieces by 180°. It is designed to be integrated into production lines. Typical applications include surface inspections in laminate and furniture manufacturing.
The fork turner is used in lines of linked door-processing machines . The doors are fed centrally via the conveyor system, clamped gently to prevent damage, and rotated 180° longitudinally before being fed centrally back into the subsequent process. The parallel infeed and outfeed reliably ensure the required throughput.
The panel turner is an efficient machine component designed to rotate individual workpieces 180° during the ongoing process. Thanks to its design, workpieces in a production line can either be rotated or transported onward without being rotated. Typical applications include alternating machining operations and surface inspections.
The HORSTKEMPER butterfly turner helps producers of prefabricated construction elements to turn wooden or steel-frame construction elements safely, quickly, and precisely to ensure that the elements can be machined on both sides. It is designed for the efficient handling of wall and ceiling elements as well as wooden or light-gauge steel frames, and significantly streamlines the flow of materials within modern production processes.
Thanks to its well-designed mechanics, the butterfly turner moves even large-format and heavy components, such as steel plates or pre-fabricated concrete elements, in a controlled and precise manner. Automated turning reduces the need for manual intervention, saves time, and lightens the workload for operating personnel. Components of various sizes can be handled flexibly without interrupting the workflow.
The butterfly turner can be easily integrated into existing production lines, thereby helping to ensure consistently high machining quality. Its sturdy construction makes it a reliable solution for long-term use for the industrial wall construction.
The vacuum turner is used when flat, vacuum-tight loads such as sheets of metal, glass panes, plastic and wood panels or blanks need to be turned by 180°. It is ideal for delicate surfaces in particular, as the materials are picked up using individual suction cups. In confined spaces, the vacuum turner can also be used in combination with an angular transfer .
